Layering
Interesting compositional quality as well as a striking image make this poster more than just wildlife photography. Next time i want to add the extra edge to a photograph i am going to be sure to look back at this for inspiration...
Compact composition
A lot of emphasis has been put on the importance of composition recently. Less certainly can be more and in fact a few carefully placed objects can overpower a sea of visuals. I have played with consumer profiles recently, in particular summing up a certain customer visually and most important interestingly, in a few objects, in this case a musician. With the simplicity of the objects that look random, they are in fact carefully placed to imitate a workplace environment and the 'messy' film roll contrast nicely with the simple shapes.
Visually appealing
Over Christmas one of our portfolio pieces to be handed in is a visual CV. A chance to express our personality and brand ourselves on a document that should attract and advertise our skills to perspective employees. So why make it boring and the same old? After all i am on a design course, i should be expressing my creative skills everywhere i can, especially to the types of people i will be sending my CV out to. So i have been thinking how to make it stand out, draw it? how to package it creatively? I like this example below, it is simple yet interesting, the see through material makes you wonder and you can tell it has been carefully considered with its layers, defiantly one to remember...
Premium delights
I have just got my confirmation for Premium international fashion trade show whist i am in Berlin in January, cannot wait, i have heard so many great things about this trade-show and seeing how many great brands there are exhibiting i can't wait to see how they express themselves to the world...
